Christmas 2021

Stamps, ink, and paper…

So much to think about and do..!
This is always where my mind starts to head after my birthday (Dec.2). But why hype myself up? We’re okay here at home. Yes, I need a break from the dogs, household chores, and ferrying kids around. Before I pick up another holiday treat my hips don’t need, I head down to my craft studio.

Ahhhh…! THIS spot is where a lot of my stress & havetahs melt away. My dollhouses & miniatures, and my stamping corner. I turn on targeted lighting over my work surface, put on some classical music, and start. I never have much of a plan for stamping. I get inspiration from other Facebook stampers, Pinterest, etc.

In September, I brought an older PP kit (Paper Pumpkin; Oct 2019, “Winter Woods”) & a strip of postage stamps down to MA, so my sister & I could do a fun activity while visiting. Now, she has 10 cards ready to mail out. Christmas cards (PP Oct 2021, “Peaceful Christmas”) have been made & sent down to my dad to mail to those on his list. I have a refill of that October 2021 kit, so I can whip up a few of my own.

There are still some great stamp sets, DSP (designer specialty paper), and more that are still available* and perfect for this time of year. If not this year, then for sure next! Remember those boring rainy days last summer & fall..?! That is a super time to craft, shake off the blahs, get lost in your creativity and come out with a completed set of cards. Sadly, the items, to which I am referring, are in the July to December 2021 Mini Catalog and will be retiring with a sale ending January 3, 2022. Once they are gone, they are gone. I have placed my order and already have card designs & class plans for next year dancing in my head. Stamps, ink, and paper…

*while supplies last

Merry Christmas from my studio to yours!
